Maravilla
An existing hillside home from the sixties is enhanced and brought into the 21st century with a series of dramatic architectural improvements. The interior of the home is opened to magnificent views of downtown Los Angeles, by replacing small windows with large exterior pocket doors. A small existing balcony is extended to double its size and create an outdoor room, while new balconies are added at the upper and lower levels. A new bedroom suite is added above the garage, accessed by a reconfigured stairway and bridge that spans through the two story living area.
